Martyna Benedyka

Martyna Benedyka is a multidisciplinary artist based in France, whose practice spans painting, photography, embroidery, collage, and photobook making. She also integrates her voice as a classically trained opera singer into visual-sound installations. Her work explores the presence and absence of human traces, revealing a sensitivity to the fragility of personal and collective memory, the fleeting nature of perception, and the experience of beauty and the sublime. Exhibited across Europe and the USA, as well as in Asia and Australia, she holds a First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting from Gray’s School of Art, UK, and is a member of Futures Photography and Art Contemporain en Bretagne.
