
Gudrita Lape
Gudrita Lape (1990) is an artist and chef working across textiles, food, and performance. She is currently a chef at LungA Art School in Seyðisfjörður and has developed a practice that treats food as an artistic medium, moving between collective meals, sensorial and material research.
Her education spans fine arts, textiles, and food-art intersections: BA in Fine Arts at the Iceland Academy of the Arts (2009–2012); exchange studies in the Textile Department at Vilnius Art Academy (2011); Fabricademy at the Textile and Technology Academy, Barcelona (2020–2021); and currently the Gramounce Food and Art AltMA (2025–2027).
