Jasa Baka

Jasa Baka is a multidisciplinary artist and curator interested in intuitively collaborating with animism, cuteness, natural magic and reemerging ancient mythological energies. Her works span through drawing, painting, ceramic and mixed media sculpture which evolve into installations. Jasa is from Canada and has lived and worked in Iceland since 2017. She graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2022. In Tiohtiá:ke (aka Montréal), Canada, she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Concordia University in 2008, with a specialisation in Design for Theatre.
