Sarah Finkle

Sarah Finkle´s work is a personal search of space, material and the body. As an anxious neurodiverse human, she uses the tactility, movement, and language of fibers to explore the daily rituals that consume our lives. Through a mix of new and old, hand weaving images on a digital loom that were captured through slow photography using pinhole cameras, she explores the collection of time, moments, and fragmented rituals. Collapsing, layering, and folding these images capturing light over months at a time, her work becomes abstracted auras delving into obsession.
